Good Neighbor Program
Good Neighbor is a community support volunteer program that allows neighbors of families that are impacted by the medical crisis that is life threatening or life altering that requires more than 3 months of treatment. At any time during a family's impacted time, if family is in need of babysitter, pet walking/ sitting, lawn care, snow removal, meal chains, etc. Anything a “Good Neighbor” would be willing to do.
How It Works: Volunteers will sign up and register. As requests come in, Surviving Hope will screen potential good neighbors with a background check. Once background checks are performed, surviving hope will supply the family in need your contact. Good Neighbors NEVER ACCEPT PAYMENTS, OR gifts. A Good Neighbor works for free, and will suggest making a donation to surviving hope if family insists.
